Description:Octagonal
ring joint gasket is machined from solid metals in a variety of
shapes.Octagonal ring joint gasket are designed for high pressure, high
temperature or highly corrosive applications.ZD-G1810 ring
joint gasket octagonal type is also called RTJ octagonal type. Similar
to ZD-G1800, Ring Joint Gasket octagonal type is made from solid metal,
but becomes octagonal shape. It is mechanically made from integral
metal. The available materials include soft iron, SS304, SS316, carbon
steel, SS321.
Application:Octagonal
ring joint gasket is mainly used in the joint part of high-temperature,
high-pressure pipeline, tower, groove and heat exchanger, suitable for
steam industry, petroleum industry and petrochemistry.
Note:The
material of the oval ring jont gasket must be 15~20HB
lower than the hardness of flange, and this kind of
gaskets is non-recyclable.

Warning: Gasket
materials should never be recommended when both the
temperature and the pressure are at the maximums
listed. Properties and applications shown are typical.
No application should be undertaken by anyone without
independent study and evaluation for suitability. Never
use more than one gasket in one flange joint, and never
reuse a gasket. Improper use or gasket selection could
cause property damage and/or serious personal injury.
